Around 70% of injuries across sport happen through non-contact, preventable mechanisms. That's true for elite athletes, Sunday league players, and people just training in the gym to feel good. That gap between getting hurt and getting properly back is the whole reason Josh Ricketts Coaching exists.

A graduate sports therapist is a dedicated musculoskeletal (MSK) specialist. Where physiotherapy spans many areas of rehab, sports therapy is focused entirely on injury, movement and return to sport.

PROVEN RESULTS

Over the past six years, Josh has worked with thousands of athletes and active people through injury rehab and performance development. Recent results include athletes qualifying for World Championship competition, players going from missing local selection to representing their country, athletes returning to international sport after major surgery, people rebuilding after spinal surgery, and over-30s hitting personal-best lifts after ACL reconstruction.

The need is real: around 30% of athletes re-tear their ACL after surgery, and over 60% never feel quite the same. Usually from failed rehab, no support, and no plan. Through structured rehab, progressive strength work and proper return-to-sport testing, Josh works to cut that risk and rebuild people the right way.
